BOLL 00140142 White Epoxy Primer Spray, 500 ml BOLL Epoxy Primer Spray 00140142 is a professional fast-drying white epoxy primer aerosol designed to protect metal surfaces against corrosion and prepare them for subsequent painting. Its epoxy-resin formulation provides excellent adhesion, anti-corrosion protection and insulating properties. The primer is suitable for steel, aluminium, galvanised steel, non-ferrous metals, old paint coatings and polyester putty. It is an excellent choice for automotive body repair, restoration work and preparation of metal components before painting. The improved formulation of BOLL Epoxy Primer significantly reduces processing time. A surface coated with one layer can be overcoated with most paints and varnishes after approximately 15 minutes. With 2–3 coats, the recommended drying time is approximately 45–60 minutes. Non-ferrous metals: sand, thoroughly clean and degrease. Old paint coatings: sand with P220–P320, clean and degrease. Polyester putty: sand with P220–P320, remove dust and degrease. Application: Before application, thoroughly clean, roughen and degrease the surface. Before use, shake the aerosol thoroughly for approximately 3 minutes. Apply 1–3 thin coats. Spraying distance: approximately 15–20 cm. Flash-off time between coats: approximately 5–10 minutes. 1–2 coats can be overcoated after approximately 15–20 minutes. 2–3 coats can be overcoated after approximately 45–60 minutes. The primer can be used wet-on-wet. After use, turn the container upside down and spray briefly until the valve and nozzle are clear. Storage: Protect from excessively low and high temperatures and direct sunlight. Store in a dry place. Shelf life – 2 years from the date stated on the packaging.
